Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra, born Jan. 21, 2004, is first in line after her father and would be Norway’s first reigning queen in centuries. Raised at Skaugum, she finished upper secondary school in 2023, served in the Norwegian Army 2024–2025, studied at the University of Sydney and in 2026 enrolled as an exchange student at the University of Oslo. She joined her father’s first cabinet meeting as monarch on Aug. 28.

Prince Sverre Magnus (born Dec. 3, 2005) is second in line. He graduated upper secondary school in 2024 and is studying business management abroad while making occasional public appearances. Marius Borg Høiby, born 1997, is not in the succession. According to reports, he was convicted of rape, sentenced to four years and is currently on house arrest; he faced 38 charges in total and has appealed parts of the sentence, which is not final.
