Medical records showed Hogan had atrial fibrillation and a history of leukemia that had not been public. Family reaction and public tributes

Hogan, born Aug. 11, 1953, was 71. His son called the loss "shocking and sudden." WWE honored him on SmackDown, Florida designated Aug. 1, 2025 as "Hulk Hogan Day," and many colleagues and fans shared gratitude for his career. He was survived by his children and had married Sky Daily in 2023; his funeral was private.
